Germany and Europe are facing profound structural challenges — and within these, PRIO identifies opportunity. As an investment platform, PRIO partners with investors and institutions to back companies and projects that drive transformation and secure sustainable long-term value creation.
Entrepreneurial thinking, international reach, and a long-term perspective define PRIO’s approach. Capital is seen not as an end in itself, but as a catalyst for constructive development — a foundation for growth, innovation, and durable value. Strategic initiatives arise from conviction and are executed through trusted partnerships.
Responsibility, performance, and curiosity form the foundation of PRIO’s work. The result is a portfolio of scalable commitments that combine progress with profitability, shaping a future that is both economically strong and socially sustainable.

Bastian learned the carpentry trade, studied architecture, economics, law and urban development and received a scholarship. After graduating, he worked as an independent planner in project development and initiated cross-university research on urban development — including a stay in India of several months. At the same time, he established his first company investments and founded PRIO, which bundled previous projects and companies. Additional qualifications in the areas of open and closed investment funds and investment structures expanded his professional depth in structuring investments. Further training on the supervisory board deepened his knowledge of compliance, risk management and strategic corporate governance. He is a member of Atlantik-Brücke e. V., serves on the advisory board of the Patriotic Society from 1765, and is a member of the Friends of the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg e. V.
